About Nobska
Nobska Group has worked with entrepreneurs and management since 1998. The members of this team have each spent more than twenty years in finance, strategy, entrepreneurship, and growth company management, with various well known firms such as Bain & Company, IBM, CSC Index, and Alex. Brown & Sons, as well as with a number of start-up ventures and middle market companies. Clients have included service and technology companies in enterprise software, wireless communications, IT security, business process outsourcing, pharmaceuticals, and health care.
All members of Management have deep expertise in corporate strategy, business development, and the funding and management of venture stage companies, and notably have significant hands-on experience "in the trenches" of entrepreneurial businesses.
Laura Moore, Michael Ward and Charlie Moore formed Nobska Group, LLC in 1998 to provide strategy consulting and merchant banking services to early stage and middle market clients primarily in the Mid-Atlantic region. They brought complementary skills and experience to Nobska Group and long-standing personal relationships. The founders' backgrounds each combine a mix of corporate strategy, finance, and entrepreneurship, with highly diverse industry exposures and extensive networks of relationships.
Frank Baitman and Rob Rosenbaum joined Nobska Group in 2002 and 2003 respectively, strengthening Nobska Group's expertise in information and communication technologies and leading to greater focus on creating and building companies in these areas.
Dr. Ari Tuchman has more recently joined Nobska, bringing a parallel set of experiences working with entrepreneurs and technology businesses in the Mid-Atlantic.

Nobska’s strategy works centers on the identification, creation and implementation of sustainable competitive advantages for its clients, where profitable growth can be created or increased. In addition to corporate strategy consulting work among the Fortune 500 and successful middle market companies, Nobska has worked with numerous seed and early stage companies. The firm has successfully recruited and built management teams, developed business models, strategies, and operational plans, and helped its strategy clients grow and more profitably operate their businesses.
Merchant Banking Advisory and Transactional Counsel
Nobska’s Merchant Banking services include raising capital, business valuation, and negotiating acquisitions, divestitures and channel partnerships. Nobska has initiated and/or advised on consummated transactions totaling more than $150 million and raised more than $40 million of seed, early stage and management buyout capital on behalf of its clients.
